Thanks to an initial donation from Mary Lou Lindroth and a match from WRAA, the Wisconsin Regional Artists Association is sponsoring a new Fund to help ensure the long-term publication of the annual State Exhibit Color Catalog. The Color Catalog has quickly become the favorite publication of WRAA members since its inception in 2008. It showcases all of the exceptional art shown at the annual State Day Exhibit each fall.

We receive partial funding for our publications from the Harold C. Berkholz Fund, established with the Fond du Lac Area Foundation to ensure ongoing printing of Contour Notes. That no longer covers the printing and mailing costs of both Contour Notes and the Color Catalog. The publication costs of the Color Catalog have also been subsidized by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, but that funding is not long term. The WRAA Board felt it was important that we have sustained funding for all of our publications and Mary Lou Lindroth agreed.

The Mary Lou Lindroth Fund has been established as an endowment with the Fond du Lac Area Foundation. We plan to do annual fund raising with a goal of growing this endowment to $100,000. The 2010 & 2012 proceeds from the Tiny Treasures competition being held in conjunction with the State Day Exhibit were deposited to the Fund. Small and large donations are also greatly appreciated.
